Which roads can I screen?
The Polk County public pilot includes I-4, US-17, US-27, US-92, US-98, SR-60. These labels define the supported screening corridors. They do not mean every parcel along a road is eligible for a billboard.
Polk Parkway / SR-570 is marked validation only in the existing coverage catalog. It is not one of the searchable public corridors. Use the coverage page to distinguish available screening from validation work before planning a search.
Read the US-27 example
The existing public Polk case describes a frozen screen near Posner Boulevard in Davenport. It records traffic, acreage, future land use and proximity to a recorded structure as reasons a location surfaced for review. These are observations from that case, not a fresh survey or a claim about current land availability.
Read those facts together. Traffic can explain why a corridor is interesting. Acreage can explain why a parcel meets a size filter. Future land use can explain a broad category match. A recorded structure nearby adds a question about spacing; its presence or distance alone does not answer that question.
What remains unresolved?
The public pilot uses parcel, location, road, AADT, acreage, future-land-use and boundary evidence. Zoning, sign and permit rules can remain partial or unknown by jurisdiction. Exact right-of-way, same-side or along-road spacing, visibility, utilities, title and field conditions also need separate verification.
Do not treat a map distance as confirmed spacing compliance, a land-use category as sign permission, or a parcel outline as a surveyed lease area. Known hard failures remain failures. Conditions without a reliable source remain unknown. Neither a ranking nor an AI explanation changes those limits.
Prepare for a site review
Carry the road label, recorded traffic year, acreage and source notes into the review. List unresolved conditions explicitly so the next person knows what to check rather than repeating the initial search. Keep the jurisdiction question open until the applicable authority and current source are confirmed.
Compare the parcel and land-use explanation with the permit verification checklist. A Polk screening result is a research lead, not approval, ownership availability or a lease offer. This guide publishes no owner contact records.
